About me
Hi, I’m Ceren — the person behind Neuro Dive.
I’m Dr. Ceren Abacioglu, PhD in psychology from the University of Amsterdam, a registered member of the Dutch Institute of Psychologists, and a certified cognitive behavioral therapist.
I’m passionate about working with neurodivergent minds, especially those with ADHD, not just to get through daily life but to feel confident, understood, and valued. As someone who also lives with ADHD, I understand both the challenges and the unique strengths it can bring. This dual perspective — professional and personal — shapes my approach and helps me connect with my clients on a deeper level.
At Neuro Dive, we focus on discovering and amplifying your strengths while building strategies that support your goals and well-being. Together, we can work on cognitive skills like sustaining focus, organizing ideas, and turning big plans into manageable steps, as well as emotional regulation tools such as calming an overactive mind, navigating frustration, or shifting from self-criticism to self-compassion.
I draw on evidence-based approaches tailored for neurodivergent needs, and informed by my research on how factors like culture, gender, and migration background shape mental health. This means our work is always attuned to both your personal experiences and the wider environments you move through.
When I’m not working, you can find me climbing, hiking, salsa dancing, or finding new ways to enjoy the outdoors.
And if you’re curious about my academic side, here are some of the degrees I’ve collected along the way that help me help you:
